A Note from Jennifer Boyle Photography:
Ziva and Susan were one of the lucky couples who got to have their wedding entirely free (flowers, makeup, officiant–everyone donated their goods and time) the first weekend that same-sex marriage was legal in NY. Pop-up Chapel hosted the marriages of 32 couples that day, I believe, and I volunteered my time as a photographer to shoot a handful of them. It was quite a day! The chapel was in Columbus Circle, right on the corner of Central Park, and there were a ton of media cameras and reporters, not to mention passers by, so Ziva and Susan’s small wedding turned into a big one with tons of guests!
